One Step Closer has always believed that hardcore is limitless. On All You Embrace, the band puts that theory into practice. Every release from the Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania band has seen them exploring the sonic overlaps of hardcore, emo, and ’90s alternative rock without an iota of self-consciousness, or pretension, creeping into the mix. All You Embrace is a collection of 11 songs that show One Step Closer reaching for something deeply honest and, as always, authentic.”I wanted to showcase One Step Closer in it’s fullest state,” says vocalist Ryan Savitski. “Every single part of the band, I wanted it to be there. I wanted us to be 100% ourselves and be as authentic to our band as we could possibly be.” For fans of their first EP From Me To You, there are songs like “Blur My Memory,” which show the passionate melodic hardcore the band built it’s name on is still part of the program.

But it’s immediately followed by “The Gate,” a song that taps into the expansive reaches the band hinted at on This Place You Know and put on full display with the powerful follow-up EP, Songs For The Willow. Every element of One Step Closer is on display throughout the record, as they expound upon every idea until each one has achieved it’s full potential.

SOROTIY NOISE’S DEBUT “FORGETTABLE” GETS A RAD REISSUE THIS WEEK!!!

Transparent Purple Vinyl. Indie quartet Sorority Noise were formed in 2013 by singer/guitarist Cameron Boucher, who also fronts the New Hampshire-based screamo group Old Gray. Looking for an outlet for some alternate material, he enlisted Old Gray drummer Charlie Singer, along with Prawn bassist Ryan McKenna and second guitarist Adam Ackerman, to form Sorority Noise in Hartford, Connecticut. After a handful of early releases, including a cassette EP and digital single, Boucher and his bandmates delivered their debut LP, Forgettable, in early 2014.

In The Great Toy Heist, you take on the role of one of four unique poppets— living toys with strong wills of their own. While your gentle creator is beside himself with worry, you and your friends enact a risky plan to save your home and livelihoods with stealth, subterfuge, and no shortage of luck!

Triple turquoise colored vinyl LP pressing. Digitally remastered edition of The Chameleons classic studio album ‘Strange Times’, released with the full co-operation of the band. This brand-new package features 3 x heavyweight, colored vinyl in a triple gatefold sleeve featuring new artwork by guitarist Reg Smithies. The album has been re-mastered by Guy Massey (who undertook the Script of the Bridge restoration) and cut at Abbey Road by Frank Arkwright.

Featuring classic tracks such as ‘Swamp Thing’, Soul in Isolation’, ‘Caution’ and ‘Tears’ – this was one of the most influential albums ever to come out of Manchester, with Noel Gallagher once posting on his Instagram “..I’d forgotten how much this album meant to me. It came out in ’86. I was 19!! I’ve been listening to it every day since and I have to say it’s blown my mind… again!” Previous vinyl versions of Strange Times were compromised by the running time of the LP (at least ten minutes longer than any pressing plant recommends). So the band and production team took the decision to split the main album across 4 sides playing at 45rpm with the bonus tracks on a separate disc.

MOTOWN LEGENDS THE SUPREMES’S ICONIC WE REMEMBER SAM COOKE GETS A MUST-HAVE REISSUE!

Truly one of the most iconic of their era, the SUPREMES never go out of style, and whenever we get a chance to shout out their records: we love to do it!

The Supremes’ fifth studio album, We Remember Sam Cooke, was released by Motown in April 1965 and was a tribute to Sam Cooke, who had died the previous December. Featuring Sam Cooke covers, such as “A Change Is Gonna Come,” “You Send Me,” “Ain’t That Good News” (led by Florence Ballard), and the delightful “Wonderful World.” It was the second most successful in a series of themed albums, peaking at #5 on the Billboard R&B Albums chart.

ROB ZOMBIE’S LUNAR INJECTION KOOL AID ECLIPSE CONSPIRACY GETS A NEW PRESSING THIS WEEK!!!

Originally released in 2021 “The Lunar Injection Kool Aid Eclipse Conspiracy” is a classic ZOMBIE album through and through with high-energy ragers like ‘The Eternal Struggles of the Howling Man’ and ‘Get Loose’ to heavy-groove thumpers like ‘Shadow Of The Cemetery Man’ and ‘Shake Your Ass-Smoke Your Grass’. Since the release of the album, Rob Zombie has stayed busy producing, writing, and directing the film “The Munsters” and in 2023 he co-headlined a massive North American tour with Alice Cooper with direct support from industrial music legends Ministry. Starting in Aug 2024 a second leg of that tour will begin taking Zombie, Cooper and Ministry across the country to markets they missed on the 2023 run of dates. In 2022 “The Lunar Injection Kool Aid Eclipse Conspiracy” was nominated for the Grammy Best Metal Performance of the Year and has been repressed many times, including a limited edition 2023 Black Friday Record Store Day Edition that sold out immediately.

Pet Shop Boys release their 2024 studio album, Nonetheless, on Parlophone Records. The album is the duo’s first with producer James Ford, who has previously worked with artists including Arctic Monkeys, Depeche Mode, Blur, Gorillaz and Simian Mobile Disco. The album also sees the duo return to Parlophone, the label which released their iconic and massively successful material spanning 1985-2012. Nonetheless features 10 tracks, recorded and mixed in London in 2023, primarily at James Ford’s studio in East London. The orchestra and backing vocals were recorded at The Church studio in North London.
