We know, it’s been a minute since we’ve got some brand new magic in, but not to worry, we’ve got a Magic Set that will speak for itself. Say goodbye to the whimsical world of “Bloomburrow”—it’s making way for a spine-chilling house of horrors, DUSKMOURN!!! The VHS style design of this set was inspired by horror media from the last 30 or 40 years- think 80’s horror films, like Fright Night or Slasher!! An infinite loop of terror and nightmares that only a skilled wizard could escape. Definitely a serious tone switch compared to the previous set!!

DUSKMOURN STORYLINE: WHAT’S WITH ALL THE HORROR?

This set takes place in the world of Duskmourn, which consists of one plane that is a giant haunted mansion filled with nothing but horrors and is ruled by the demonic “Valgavoth.” “Nashi,” son of the Planeswalker “Tamiyo,” has mysteriously vanished through a strange door, leaving only a glitchy recording of a terrifying new world. Join an ensemble cast of “Niko Aris, Tyvar Kell, Zimone Wola, Kaito Shizuki,” and the “Wanderer” as they fight to survive in this nightmarish plane!!

Duskmourn: House of Horror pays tribute to horror photography with special double exposure cards, featuring eerie textures and haunting characters. You’ll find them in Play Boosters, but the textured foil versions? Those are exclusive to Collector Boosters for an extra spooky touch

FULL-ART MANOR LANDS – The House isn’t just any building—it’s a living, plane-spanning entity feeding on fear. Its ever-changing rooms are captured in Duskmourn: House of Horror’s full-art manor lands, showcasing the House’s terrifying beauty!! You’ll find these lands in both Play Boosters and Collector Boosters.

PARANORMAL FRAME – Looks like our camera was haunted! The survivors’ tech is being turned against them, as seen on the eerie paranormal frame cards. With striking visuals and a static crackle, cards like “Come Back Wrong” reveal cryptic final messages. You’ll find these spooky cards in Duskmourn: House of Horror Play Boosters and Collector Boosters.

SPECIFICATIONS

  • Duskmourn: House of Horror (DSK) is a Standard-legal set.
  • Duskmourn: House of Horror Commander (DSC) and Special Guests (SPG) are Commander-, Legacy-, and Vintage-legal sets, and individual cards are also legal where already available in other formats.
  • Duskmourn: House of Horror Play Boosters contain cards from DSK and SPG. These cards are playable in Duskmourn: House of Horror Draft and Sealed when opened from Play Boosters.
  • Duskmourn: House of Horror contains 276 regular cards (91 commons, 100 uncommons, 60 rares, 20 mythic rares, 5 basic lands), and includes randomly inserted traditional foil versions of all cards.
