COLDPLAY’S NEW ALBUM “MOON MUSIC” DROPS THIS NEW RECORD FRIDAY!!!!

“Moon Music”, the highly anticipated tenth album from Coldplay drops this new record Friday and we couldn’t be more excited!! “Moon Music” is the sequel to their 2021 album “From Earth With Love” and is part of their Music of the Spheres project. In tandem with Coldplay’s ground-breaking sustainability measures on their current tour – which has so far produced 59% less CO2e emissions than their previous stadium tour – the band have gone to great lengths to make the physical release of Moon Music as sustainable as possible. This will be the world’s first album released as a 140g EcoRecord rPET LP, with each copy containing nine recycled PET-plastic bottles recovered from post-consumer waste. This will prevent the manufacture of more than 25 metric tonnes of virgin plastic, and provide an 85% reduction in manufacturing process CO2 emissions/kg compared to traditional 140g vinyl. In an effort to reduce waste, the first edition run of Moon Music(both EcoRecord rPET LP and EcoCD) will be strictly limited and produced at a higher specification than any future editions and all First Edition EcoRecord rPET LP products will be individually numbered. Third Eye Faithful, you know we’ve already got our tickets for the Joker sequel set to hit theaters today and we’ll be spinning this stunning soundtrack all week to celebrate!! “Joker: Folie à Deux” is an American musical / psychological thriller film directed by Todd Phillips from a screenplay co-written with Scott Silver. It’s the sequel to “Joker” (2019) and a prequel to “The Dark Knight”, loosely based on DC Comics characters, and stars Joaquin Phoenix reprising his role as the Joker with Lady Gaga joining the cast as his love interest Harley Quinn. The film premiered at the 81st Venice International Film Festival on September 4, 2024, and received praise for the cinematography, production design, and Phoenix’s performance. With Phoenix and Gaga’s portrayal of the characters described as a “homicidal Sonny & Cher”, we couldn’t be more stoked for not only this star-studded film, but also the accompanying soundtrack!! JULIE’S NEW ALBUM, “MY ANTI-AIRCRAFT FRIEND”, RELEASES THIS NEW RECORD FRIDAY!!

Third Eye Faithful, we are beyond stoked to spin the new debut album by the band at the forefront of the modern Shoegaze scene, Julie!! Los Angeles band and art collective Julie announced their highly-awaited debut album my anti-aircraft friend after exploding onto the map in 2020 with their single “flutter,” which has racked up millions of streams since its release. The band’s genesis, however, goes back to the late 2010s when vocalist and guitarist Keyan Pourzand and drummer Dillon Lee were joined by vocalist and bassist Alexandria Elizabeth. Holding a mutual affinity towards shadowy and adventurous music, the trio played shows with local acts around Orange County in high school before relocating to Los Angeles in 2019 for design school, where they began writing the songs that would make up their impending debut album my anti-aircraft friend. In 2021, julie released their EP pushing daisies, which includes the tracks “skipping tiles” and “april’s-bloom” and proceeded their 2022 double single “pg.4 picture of three hedges” / “through your window.” my anti-aircraft friend is a bold leap, both showcasing a louder, more assured band, while also attaining a core sound the band had been chasing all along. After all those years tinkering and refining their sound, Julie’s forthcoming debut album is the work of people who have become steeped in alternative music’s history, learned how it works within their own musical sensibilities, and now use it to warp conventions and turn tropes on their head. Additionally, with each member of the band a multidisciplinary artist – Pourzand does sculpture work and Brady writes and paints, while Lee is also a painter as well as illustrator – the band deliberates and conceives every element of their releases, not just the music but the art and packaging, all the way down to what instruments they play onstage!

HIT ANIMATED SERIES “HAZBIN HOTEL” GETS A SOUNDTRACK PRESSING YOU’RE NOT GONNA WANT TO MISS!!

Hazbin Hotel is an American adult animated musical comedy television series created by Vivienne “VivziePop” Medrano. The series revolves around Charlie Morningstar, princess of Hell, on her quest to find a way for sinners to be “rehabilitated” and allowed into Heaven, via her “Hazbin Hotel”, as an alternative to Heaven’s annual “Extermination” of souls due to Hell’s overpopulation. The series is produced by SpindleHorse Toons in collaboration with powerhouse studios A24, Amazon , and Bento Box Entertainment.

The pilot episode, released on YouTube on October 28, 2019, was made entirely by freelance animators and was mainly financed by Medrano’s Patreon followers. With years of push from dedicated fans, the series released their pilot episode in January 2024 which amassed a staggering 80 million views! The accompanying soundtrack features musical mega stars, including Stephanie Beatriz of the hit Encanto soundtrack and Erika Henningsen of Legally Blonde, making this one soundtrack you’re not gonna want to stop spinning on repeat!!
