SAT 6/15/24: THE 1ST EVER THIRD EYE COMIX PUNX SIGNING SHOWCASE!

Third Eye Faithful, it’s probably no surprise to you if you visit our stores often, that Third Eye has a long history of supporting & celebrating all sorts of amazing comics that are definitively outside the box & totally unique.
And, it’s also pretty obvious, since the very first day Third Eye opened its doors, we are DIY til we die, even as Third Eye has grown, the punk rock roots of the store run through everything we do!
So, when long-time Third Eye fav, Matt Pizzolo, hit us up about a bunch of rad BLACK MASK COMICS projects on the way, including the long-awaited compendium collection of ’90s horror indie comix classic, FAUST, we knew this was the perfect time to launch something we’ve been working on for a while: the annual THIRD EYE COMIX PUNX signing showcase!
Starting in 2024, and continuing every Summer, we’ll be hosting a special showcase event featuring some of our favorite comic creators who share the same DIY out of the box approach to making comics & storytelling that we have at Third Eye, and inviting them out to show off their projects to YOU, Third Eye Faithful!
And, trust us: we’d love to have you be a part of it our little gang of COMIX PUNX too, so make sure to keep an eye on us throughout 2024, for more cool things relating to our love of comics & punk rock.

Now, lets talk a little bit about this signing, Third Eye Faithful!
First off: we’ve got an all-star line-up signing with us on 6/15/24, and we cannot wait to get their awesome works into your hands!
Leading the charge, we’ve got indie comix legend, DAVID QUINN, the co-creator & writer of one of the most iconic, and downright brutal horror comics of all-time: FAUST!
BLACK MASK STUDIOS is releasing a compendium collection of the entire FAUST run with FAUST LOVE OF THE DAMNED, and DAVID QUINN will be signing copies with us at Third Eye Annapolis to kick it off!!!

What’s the scoop on SURVIVAL FETISH?

The story of two teenagers, a mixtape, a stolen car, a fully loaded .45, strange abilities, dead drug dealers, and their money. A dark and modern story about getting lost and finding yourself on the backroads of America. Collecting We Can Never Go Home #1-5.
And, we can’t forget Patrick’s IMAGE series, FRONTIERSMAN, which is truly unique, and a blast!
A retired superhero is coaxed back into action by an environmentalist group, only to find life as a spokesperson makes him a target for old and new enemies alike! Doing a tree-sit protest to stop a logging company means everyone he’s ever had a problem with knows where to find him. And they come running.
Finally: we can’t neglect to mention that Patrick is the singer of one of our fav hardcore bands doing it right now, DRUG CHURCH, and if you’ve got copies of their bangers CHEER, TAWNY or the incredible HYGIENE, you can get those bad boys signed too (and we may even have those records on hand for you to pick up and try too!)

What’s the scoop on GODKILLER?
The beloved, ultra-not-for-kids, modern classic about teenage orphan Tommy and escaped slavegirl Halfpipe who travel through a post-nuke wasteland in search of a new heart for Tommy’s dying sister.
And, then ROGUE STATE
is a newer one from Matt Pizzolo, and another favorite of ours, and we’ll have copies on hand for him to sign as well!!!
In ROGUE STATE, what if a contested Presidential election plunged America into turmoil?
What if political violence consumed the streets? And what if a raging Supreme Court, in a strict interpretation of the 2nd Amendment, legitimized and deputized all militias, transforming the entire country into a paramilitary police state?
