CAPTAIN MARVEL #1 kicks off a new era for Carol Danvers & gives you the perfect place to read the next Marvel Cinematic Universe star!

The new CAPTAIN MARVEL series is so good — check it out this Wednesday!
We’re so freakin’ pumped for the CAPTAIN MARVEL movie coming out later this year, and when we saw Marvel had a brand new ongoing CAPTAIN MARVEL series kicking off that served as a perfect jumping on point for one of our all-time favorite characters — we knew we had to shout it out big-time!
As Captain Marvel, Carol Danvers has spent months in space protecting Earth from alien threats big and small, but now it’s time for Earth’s mightiest hero to come home.
New York City has never looked so good. But every re-entry comes with the unexpected, and Carol is about to hit a whole lot of unexpected.
It’s a fresh start and an oversized, star-studded welcome home for a hero who’s been punching the glass ceiling since the 1970s – and just in time for the first female-led film from Marvel Studios!
The next 50 years of Captain Marvel starts here!

The next big DCU title launches with YOUNG JUSTICE #1, featuring Damian Wayne and more!

We’re huge fans of just about anything that writer BRIAN MICHAEL BENDIS puts his hands on, and we gotta tell ya: Patrick Gleason is one of the best darn artists DC has (his work on both BATMAN AND ROBIN and SUPERMAN: SON OF SUPERMAN are downright stunning!), so when we saw the two were combining forces to deliver an all new ongoing YOUNG JUSTICE series — we knew we had to give this a big shout out!
Superboy! Wonder Girl! Robin! Impulse! Amethyst!
They’re all united in YOUNG JUSTICE #1, the debut issue of a brand-new series that also introduces new heroes Teen Lantern and Jinny Hex!
When the nightmare dimension known as Gemworld invades Metropolis, these teen heroes reunite to deal with the situation-but they’re shocked to discover the battle may be the key to the return of Conner Kent, a.k.a. Superboy!
This mix of fan favorites and new legacy heroes will be the center point for some of the biggest goings-on at DC!
As if that weren’t enough, Bendis reunites with all-star artist Patrick Gleason (SUPERMAN, ACTION COMICS, GREEN LANTERN CORPS) to bring the new heroes of DC’s Wonder Comics to life!

The VENOM mythos continue to build in the next WEB OF VENOM one-shot with WEB OF VENOM: UNLEASHED #1 this Wednesday!

You hear us rant and rave again and again about how much we love Donny Cates and Ryan Stegman’s VENOM, right?
And, you know, if you’re already reading it, that we’re absolutely right — this is one of the best Marvel funs we’ve seen in a minute!
Now, with the next in the WEB OF VENOM one-shots (a series of stand-alone stories that build the history and world surrounding the epic run Donny and Ryan are delivering), we’re taken on a journey from the symbiote’s perspective through Eddie’s old haunts in San Francisco. It might not like what it finds…

DIE #2 continues the most exciting new IMAGE COMICS debut we’ve seen in ages!!

Imagine Jumanji meets Stephen King’s IT!
One of the most exciting IMAGE releases we’ve seen in a while — and quite possibly the next Image ongoing to carry the torch that SAGA once did — is the incredible DIE!
Written by WICKED + DIVINE’s KIERON GILLEN, and featuring gorgeous artwork by STEPHANIE HANS, DIE is a pitch-black fantasy where a group of forty-something adults have to deal with the returning unearthly horror they barely survived as teenage role-players.
If Kieron’s in a rush, he describes it as “Goth Jumanji.” That only captures a sliver of what you’ll find in oversized debut issue-where fantasy gets all too real.
As the bleak, austere fantasy-horror ramps up, we start underlining the word “Goth” in black marker until we cut a hole through the page.
Wanna get into it? We’ve got issue 1 in stock now to catch you up to this weeks issue 2!

FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD SPIDER-MAN #1 debuts an all new ongoing Spidey title and it rules!!

We really dug the 1st issue of this killer new ongoing companion series to AMAZING SPIDER-MAN!
Spider-Man is the worst neighbor EVER!
There are always crazy villains and property damage and drama and…and he CATCHES the villains.
And he tries to fix the damage and he helps carry your groceries and actually that property damage keeps the rents down.
You know what? Spider-Man is the best neighbor ever and this book will give you a closer look at Spider-Man’s (and Peter Parker’s) neighborhood than any book ever.
Also, it wouldn’t be a Spider-Man adventure without a threat that could destroy not only Spider-Man, but all his neighbors.
Superstar writer TOM TAYLOR (X-MEN RED, ALL-NEW WOLVERINE, Injustice) and rising art star JUANN CABAL (ALL-NEW WOLVERINE, X-23) give you the most local Spider-Man ever!

Make sure you scoop the ARTGERM variant of FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD SPIDER-MAN #1 for $4.99 cover price this week while supplies last!

We LOVE this awesome alternate cover to FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD SPIDER-MAN #1 from superstar artist ARTGERM, and we know you probably do too!

THE GREEN LANTERN #3 from GRANT MORRISON continues to deliver some of the best darn GL storytelling we’ve seen since the Geoff Johns era!

Third Eye Faithful: you know us — we just love pretty much everything Grant Morrison does, and we cannot wait to dig into the 3rd issue of his epic GREEN LANTERN run this week!
In #3, when the Earth goes up for sale on the alien black market, it’s up to the Green Lantern Corps to bust up “The Slave Lords of the Stars” in the latest space saga from Grant Morrison (MULTIVERSITY) and Liam Sharp (WONDER WOMAN)!
With the Justice League frozen by Gamma Gong tech, Earth ends up on the auction block, and Volgar Zo hosts a menagerie of the universe’s deadliest despots and criminals: Steppenwolf, Queen Bee, the Dominators and much, much worse.
Hal Jordan leads a squad of Lanterns into the fray-and someone’s going to pay the ultimate price before this case gets closed.
