Third Eye Faithful, we are super excited for this one! The newest offering by superstar writer and artist Skottie Young and his MIDDLEWEST partner Jorge Corona, THE ME YOU LOVE IN THE DARK is a killer ghost story that fans of horror inclined writers like James Tynion IV, Stephen King, and Neil Gaiman will love! Releasing in early August, you’re gonna be thrilled by this one!

What’s the scoop on THE ME YOU LOVE IN THE DARK?

An artist named Ro retreats from the grind of the city to an old house in a small town to find solace and inspiration without realizing the muse within is not what she expected. Fans of Stephen King and Neil Gaiman will enjoy this beautiful, dark, and disturbing story of discovery, love, and terror.

Of the new project, writer Skottie Young said: “Jorge and I were planning our follow up to MIDDLEWEST. We both wanted to do a love story and a horror story,” Young said. “So, we decided to combine the two. Then, like Ro in the comic, I went and rented a creepy house, turned off the lights, lit some candles and started writing. I didn’t come out until I was done.”

MIDDLEWEST

The lands between the coasts are vast, slow to change, and full of hidden magics. The town of Farmington has been destroyed, sending an unwitting adventurer and his vulpine companion in search of answers-and to quell a coming storm that speaks his name. From author SKOTTIE YOUNG (I HATE FAIRYLAND, Deadpool, Fortunately, the Milk) and artist JORGE CORONA (NO. 1 WITH A BULLET, Feathers, Big Trouble in Little China: Old Man Jack) comes the tale of Abel, a young boy who must navigate an old land in order to reconcile his family’s history. The perfect read for fans of dark fantasy like Return to Oz, classic Don Bluth animation, and/or Miyazaki animation.

I HATE FAIRYLAND

An Adventure Time/Alice in Wonderland-style epic that smashes its cute little face against grown-up Tank Girl/Deadpool-esque violent madness. Follow Gert, a forty-year-old woman in a six-year-old’s body, who has been stuck in the magical world of Fairyland for nearly thirty years. Join her and her giant battle-axe on a delightfully blood-soaked journey to see who will survive the girl who HATES FAIRYLAND.

BULLY WARS

Rufus has been the biggest bully in Rottenville since kindergarten, but everything changed on the first day of high school. Suddenly going from bully to bullied, he’s forced to make a shaky pact with his favorite geeks, Spencer and his twin sibling besties Edith and Ernie, to survive the Hunger Games-like contest known as the Bully Wars-where the winner will rule the school!

STRANGE ACADEMY

The Marvel Universe’s first school for sorcerers throws open its doors! The world has mysteriously changed in such an alarming way that Doctor Strange has finally done what he has avoided for decades and established an academy for the mystic arts! Young people from around the world with an aptitude for magic are brought together in New Orleans to study under Stephen Strange, Brother Voodoo, the Ancient One, the Scarlet Witch, Magik, Daimon Hellstrom and all your favorite Marvel mages. From mindful Mindless Ones to pan-dimensional games of tag, the Strange Academy is definitely living up to its name. But the students’ first field trip lights a fuse that is going to blow up in a big way! School’s in session – and it’s going to be spellbinding!
