We are LOVING Dark Nights METAL, and what has been so downright impressive is how much quality they’ve managed to put into all the tie-ins that have been coming out so far.
After the awesomeness that was the GOTHAM RESISTANCE crossover, we’re super stoked about the new BATS OUT OF THE HELL crossover kicking off in FLASH #33 (’cause lets face it: JOSHUA WILLIAMSON is killing it on FLASH, and we’ll read just about anything he’s kicking out the jams on – but hey: the whole darn crossover looks rad!)
What’s the scoop on BATS OUT OF HELL? Basically, the DCU is on the ropes, and the Nightmare Batmen are delivering some serious damage to our favorite heroes.
However: there’s a secret weapon (or shall we say weapons) waiting throughout the DCU in the form of many mystical artifacts — and guess what: the JUSTICE LEAGUE is gonna track ’em down and use ’em to lay some major smackdown on the forces of the DARK MULTIVERSE!
BATS OUT OF HELL: What is it, and where does it start?
So, BATS OUT OF HELL is a mini-crossover that’s spinning out of METAL, and it runs through four titles: FLASH #33, JUSTICE LEAGUE #32, HAL JORDAN AND THE GREEN LANTERN CORPS #32, and JUSTICE LEAGUE #33!
It all starts with FLASH #33, as the JUSTICE LEAGUE has scattered around the world to find the only artifacts that can fight back against the invasion of the Dark Multiverse.
The League thinks they know how to take back their world, but they are not prepared for who is standing in their way.
The Seven Dark Knights of the Dark Multiverse. All the brilliance of Batman, but none of the morals. Barry Allen, The Fastest Man Alive, is the first to get a taste of their plan, as BATMAN: THE RED DEATH takes him on at the Fortress of Solitude.
The crossover will be a total of 4 chapters, and run through FLASH #33 (Chapter 1), JUSTICE LEAGUE #32 (Chapter 2), HAL JORDAN AND THE GREEN LANTERN CORPS #32 (Chapter 3), and JUSTICE LEAGUE #33 (Chapter 4)
